Although the length of most commercial leases has reduced significantly in recent years in response to a changing marketplace, there will be  a need for landlord and tenant to enter into negotiations to determine the Market Rent that should be payable on rent review or lease renewal.

We will study the lease and consider the history of the letting to determine the rent that should be paid, having regard to these factors and the prevailing market conditions.
